#T115. Whimsical Hand Crafted Journal Pearls and Ruffles
We are thrilled to present to you a selection of one-on-a-kind journals, created with love and whimsy in The Vintage Nest studio. Always made with something of the past and treasured for something new. Inside covers are lined with embossed floral anaglypta papiers and sweet almond scented Italian Coccoina glues are used. There are 100 sheets or 200 lined pages and it measures 9.75" x 7.5". Each journal is signed and comes with a matching tasseled bookmark. This gorgeous journal features a hand form created from an antique French school book primer. The hand ring finger wears a real vintage cabochon pearl understacked with faceted rhinestone. The old pearl has that gorgeous old patina only accepted by time. The hand cuff was created from a vintage crinoline ruffle. Roses lifted from an antique penny postcard touched with pink glitter and a real rose leaf pressed from my garden accentuate the hand. Presented on the side is a riot of gorgeous ribbons....pink satin, pink organza, white satin and vintage rose pink velvet. This pretty bevy of ribbons is furthur accented with a dangle of vintage pink "faux" pearls. These altered journals are charming, possessing original designs and are a delightful way to pen thoughts and memories in the way they deserve.
