#L040. Stunning Art Deco Glass Plume Vintage Lamp
Circa 1940-50, vintage art deco-transitional style lamp and once upon a time graced the sideboards of the elite. The glass on this stunning old lamp is of good quality. The glass feather plumes or pen quills on either side are highly textured and can be removed. The old metal column has lots of age related patina only adding to the authenticity of this piece. Gorgeous base of a square cut 3/4" inch high glass separated with a gold tone decorative square and then a solid glass block. Another faceted glass piece is also on the column. The harp is topped with a round glass ball with Greek key detail. There are two tiny little nicks on the bottom glass square and you can feel a bit of roughness on the edge of one glass plume. Lamp has been newly rewired. Stands just under 19" tall to the top of the harp and 12" tall to the top of the socket. Hollywood glamour, perfect shabby but very chic and French panache all rolled into one. **** Please note this item may be shipped via FedEx Home delivery due to it's size and weight.
