Going Green
We are, and have been, committed to Green. Selling and collecting antiques and vintage items for my home and you, is the ultimate in recyling. And I love to upcycle by taking old items and recreating them with a new purpose such as my sweet little pillowcase dresses and jean skirts.
Here at The Vintage Nest, we recycle boxes and packing materials. And soon I hope to replace, where possible, styrofoam packing peanuts with recycled shredded paper for your purchase protection and filler.
Whenever possible, I will consolidate your orders into as few as boxes as possible for safe delivery. And we will strive to update the way we do things to make a difference. Remembering, each little difference will make a BIG difference in the long run.
At home, I am recycling more and more and just recently starting using cloth market bags for my grocery shopping. I love it and don't know why I didn't do it sooner.
